Bianca's Background
Born and bred in the New South Wales Riverina, Bianca, like many developed a passion for horses at a very tender age. By her mid-teens she was riding 20 kms a day after school to work at Lady Smith Feedlot under the guidance of Phil Webb. At just 17 she won her first major title becoming Australia’s youngest ever National Pleasure Horse Futurity Champion onboard a horse called Winderaden Boomer that she had raised and trained herself.
Webb who had been involved as the head trainer at Copperwood Ranch in Australia since 1977 had returned to the Riverina after a stint in the USA where he managed Copperwood Ranches Inc. (Copperwood), and Graham “Mouse” Amos had succeeded him as the head trainer. After a short time back in Wagga Wagga, in 1992 Webb was re-engaged by Copperwood. Bianca had just finished school and was looking forward to a career in vet science when Webb phoned to ask her to join him training horses. The lure of circa 100 broodmares, studs and training horses was all to appealing for a young woman passionate about horses and Bianca ditched her career plans to join Webb. Working along-side Guy McPhee (the son of the ‘Rodeo King’ Gary McPhee) Bianca started horses and rode out 2 year olds, together with a very young stable hand by the name of Dean “Doey” Holden who would go on to become one of the ‘best of the best’. After the Goornong, VIC ranch was sold to celebrity John Farhnam, Bianca went on to lead the operations of Copperwood at Seymour VIC between 1998 and 2008, making many friends, travelling, and winning numerous titles in the cutting world along the way.
Copperwood Ranch
Copperwood was seen by many as pivotal in the development and growth of Australia’s Quarter Horse and Western Performance/Cutting industry standing stallions like Amigo Lark, Poco Peppy Doc (by Doc O’Lena out of Salty Tulip, by Peppy San) and then 49’er Doc (by Mr. 49’er [Mr. Gunsmoke] out of Docs Skeena, by Doc Bar) and also Six Spins (out of the legendary Triple Spin). Mares like Pacific Niner, Dickeys Taffeta, Dickey Cindy, Dickey Sandy and Sage Skippy Le formed the foundation of what was to become an outstanding broodmare band even by today’s standards.
Fast forward, after a 15 year hiatus, a passionate Bianca together with her husband David and their 3 children have had the opportunity to embark on the arduous task of re-entering the cutting horse industry in an attempt to find new ways. After a year of fine tuning, Bianca’s breeding program is founded on world-class genetics including Stylish Play Lena, Royal Blue Boon and Autumn Boon which will be bred to the next generation of stallions including the family owned stallion, Aristo Tuff (IMP)… now only time will tell.

Just a short drive west of the quaint townships of Quirindi and Willow Tree (near Tamworth) on the prolific Liverpool Plains food bowl, is home to Borambil Park.
Purchased by Bianca and David Kelynack in late 2019 the property comprises cultivation as well as prime breeding and fattening country.
“I remember saying to David when we arrived at the end of the drought… there’s absolutely nothing here, just sticks and stones, hundreds of roos and feral pigs… OMG what have we done?”
Two weeks later the drought broke and it's been raining ever since.
The property’s redevelopment was commenced in 2020 by a team of highly reliable local contractors and has since included the complete re-build of a full sized timber post and rail cow horse arena, an undercover arena, associated horse paddocks, stallion paddocks, stabling facilities as well as robust cattle fencing and significant pastoral improvement.
With panoramic views over the Liverpool Plains to the Great Dividing Range, Borambil Park Arena is a state-of-the-art, outdoor, timber post and rail arena, with a high-quality sand base. It’s been constructed to American Reined Cow Horse (ARCHA) and National Cutting Horse Association (NCHA) guidelines and specifications.
Borambil Park Cottage was located a kilometre south of Warrah Ridge Road and was built in the mid 19th century and now consists of old ruins and a set of dilapidated stockyards. In the early 1900s Borambil Park Homestead, a large federation bungalow style residence was commissioned to be built by the Saywell family on the northern side of the property set on a spur high above the plains and was well known for playing host to high society events of the day.
Prominent on the property now are dozens of koalas, deer, echidnas, foxes as well as 2 wedge tail eagles.
Bianca and David have 3 children, Will, Charlie and Grace, who all love growing up and working on Borambil Park.
Borambil Pastoral Co. Australia operates an agribusiness specialising in the production of premier Angus and Wagyu X Angus F1 cattle for the Australian feedlot sector.
Also hosting Australia’s newest Quarter Horse Stud. The Stud’s goal is to breed versatile cow horses for the show ring and on the job. Our broodmares have been carefully selected on performance and bloodlines and are bred to the top US and Australian sires producing a line of horses that excel in cutting, campdrafting and performance events. Renowned world-class cow horses like Aristo Tuff IMP, Diana Had Style IMP and Neat Kitty Corner IMP proudly preside over their progeny at Borambil Park.
Bianca oversees the horse breeding and training programs. She draws on over 25 years' experience, breeding, training and competing at the highest level in the Cutting Horse Industry. From 1998 to 2008 she managed the operations of the well-known quarter horse stud, Copperwood Ranch in Seymour Victoria. Copperwood played a pivital role in the development and growth of Australia’s Quarter Horse and Western Performance/Cutting industry.
